Mr. Fejtek serves Ascendiant Capital Markets as a Managing Director in the firm’s Investment Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Advisory practice.
Mr. Fejtek has over 25 years of experience executing M&A transactions as an investment banker, beginning at Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. where he was repeatedly honored as the #1 dealmaker in his division and received other top performance awards. Sectors with transactional expertise include: energy, food & beverage, medical products & healthcare, transportation, technology, as well as various specialty distribution companies. Prior to his career as an investment banker, Mr. Fejtek managed and successfully sold a family business.
Mr. Fejtek has authored numerous articles appearing globally in business and special interest publications and he is a frequent guest speaker. He and his wife are among only a handful of married couples in the world who have climbed all of the famed Seven Summits – the highest mountain peaks on each of the seven continents. Mr. Fejtek is also the third person in history to complete the “Peak to Heat Double” – the combination of summiting Earth’s highest peak, Mt. Everest, and finishing the Triathlon World Championship – the Hawaii Ironman. He has been featured on NBC, ABC, Fox News and the Today Show. Mr. Fejtek is the author of “Steps to the Summit – Reaching the Top in Business and Life” which is an adventure story but also includes a discussion about some of the M&A deals completed along the journey.
Mr. Fejtek earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He maintains FINRA Series 7, 63, 79, and 99 securities registrations.
