Dr. Gayde serves Ascendiant Capital Markets as a Managing Director in the firm’s Investment Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Advisory practice, specializing in healthcare and life sciences.
Dr. Gayde has ten years of experience as an investment banker in the areas of medical and dental devices, medical and dental laboratories, biotechnology, and life sciences. He previously practiced clinical dentistry for 20 years and has been active in the evaluation, purchase, and sale of dental practices and dental manufacturers.
Dr. Gayde serves as the Chairman of the Orange County Executive Healthcare Networking Group, and has authored articles on selling dental companies. In the dental field, he has held many positions including being on the American Dental Association’s Legislative Committee. Dr. Gayde was on the teaching faculty at the University of Detroit School of Dentistry, has authored safety manuals for the dental community in conjunction with the American Fund for Dental Health, and has written many legislative articles for dental publications.
Dr. Gayde earned a DDS from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry and completed his residency at the University of Minnesota. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from the University of Detroit. Dr. Gayde maintains FINRA Series 7, 66, and 79 securities registrations.
